GUIDELINES FOR BBA PROJECT REPORT

Project Report duly completed in all regards needs to be submitted to Respective Project
Guides on or before 15th May, 2016.
A. The Project Report, wherever specified will be submitted in the typed form as per the
following requirements:
i.

The typing should be done on one side of the paper

ii.

The general text shall be justified and typed in the Font style Times New Roman
and Font size 12.

iii.

Heading shall be typed in the Font style Times New Roman and Font size 14 and
bold.

iv.

Subheading shall be typed in the Font style Times New Roman and Font size 12
and bold.

v.

The Summer Training Report be typed in 1.5 (one and a half)


space. But the References/Bibliography should be typed in a single space.

vi.

Page numbers at the bottom of the each page. Margins should be 2 on the left
and 1 on the right.

vii.

The paper should be A-4 size.

viii.

The evaluation shall be done in the manner specified in the Scheme of


Examination of the programme. The Project Report shall carry 100 marks.

ix.

The project report must be about 70 -120 pages.

x.

Two copies of the project report in spiral binding along with CD must be
made and one copy must be submitted to the institute.

xi.

Make sure that the acceptance certificate in your report is signed by your guide
before
you
make
the
final
submission
of
the
report.

COMPONENTS OF A PROJECT REPORT


The sequence in which the project report material should be arranged and bound should be as
follows:
1) Cover Page (Title Page): Title, Name of the Candidate (University roll No.), Name of
Guide, Regional center name with University Name (and emblem) and Place, Month and
Year of submission. (Refer Annexure- I)

2) Declaration by the Student: Refer Annexure- II


3) Certificate by the Guide: Refer Annexure-III
4) Acknowledgements: The candidate may thank all those who helped in the preparation of
project.
5) Table of Contents: Refer Annexure-IV
6) Company Profile : An overview of the organization
a. Introduction
b. History of the organization
c. Special features
d. Departmental study- objectives, methodology & limitations
e. Detailed study of department related to your Specialization
7) Main Body of the Project: This is core aspect of your project giving in detail your
project work. The project may be divided into 3 to 4 Chapters with suitable Titles, the
first Chapter being Introduction and the last being Conclusion & suggestions
8) List of References (if any): The listing of references should be typed 2 spaces below the
heading REFERENCES in alphabetical order in single spacing left justified. Should
be numbered consecutively (in square [] brackets, throughout the text and should be
collected together in the reference list at the end of your report. The references should be
numbered in the order they are used in the text. The name of the author/authors should be
immediately followed by the year and other details.

9) Appendices: Appendices are provided to give supplementary information, which is
Included in the main text may serve as a distraction and cloud the central theme.
a. Appendices should be numbered using Arabic numerals, e.g. Appendix 1, Appendix II,
etc.
b. Appendices, Tables and References appearing in appendices should be numbered and
referred to at appropriate places just as in the case of chapters.
c. Appendices shall carry the title of the work reported and the same title shall be made in
the contents page also.
