Duty:
The Mini 40 is capable of pressing most materials without pre-treatment. Its small size
and tight tolerances means that it is very efficient at rupturing the structures of oil bearing
materials and extracting the oil.
The Mini 100 Press is also suitable for small scale village industry or research work.

Technical Description:
General:
The Mini 40 is a simple fabricated design, that lends itself to local maintenace with basic
toolsame, that provides maximum strength and allows for simple installation of the Press. The
Press is normally supplied on a stand, The electric motor is mounted on the stand to provide a self
contained unit. Other Drive layouts including a Diesel Driven version are available (See Below)
The Gearbox is a simple shaft mounted Speed reducer. Thrust loads are carried in the
Feed end Bearing Arrangement. This is mounted in a moveable housing that allows the shaft to
be moved to adjust the discharge annulus of the press. This allows the pressure in the Press to be
controlled.

The Barrel Assembly

The Press Barrel is made up of a series of ring separated by Shims and mounted on
Tie Rods. This simple design allows the drainage gaps to be adjusted all the way down the barrel
to achieve the optimum drainage. The Rings are Hardened to maximise their wearing life.

The Worm Assembly:

The Worm Assembly is a solid shaft design. It is made up of a continuously tapering screw with
final pressure control my means of the adjustable choke. This design gives the machine great
flexibility and almost any seed material can be processed with the same Worm Assembly.

DIESEL DRIVEN MINI 40

A completely self contained Diesel driven version of the press is also available. This is especially
suitable for applications in remote rural area that may not have a reliable electrical supply.
The basic Press is identical to the standard Mini40, and all parts are fully interchangeable. A
Diesel Press can be simply converted to Electrical supply or Vice Versa.
The Mini 40 is supplied fully equipped with Motors, Guards and Covers. Feeder gear can be
supplied if required. All aspect of the Press and its ancillaries are designed in accordance with all
European and British Safety regulations.
