    CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ACT STATE AURORAS MANAGER

    General
    Assist the ACT Auroras Coaches to run the administration component of the 2017 Auroras campaign
    in the ACT. Be involved with the selection process and ongoing training process for the elite athletes
    from the ACT as they prepare for the 2017 World Championships.
    Position required from late August 2016 to September 2017.
    Approximately 4 hours per week required.
    Specific Duties
    Assist with the conduct of the initial Benchmarking testing for all potential candidates (late
    August 2016)
    Recording and submission of results for the potential candidates to Auroras General
    Manager and Head Coach
    Management of a team training scheduler to record paddler attendance. Liaise with paddlers
    regarding their attendance.
    Manage a sweeping roster to ensure sweeps are identified for each session.
    In conjunction with the ACT Auroras coaches, manage the boat configuration process for
    each training session.
    Ideally suited to a person interested in becoming a manager or coach for future Auroras campaigns,
    or someone with that experience who is willing to assist their State Paddlers.
