International 5 for the game Dota
2 happened in Seattle,
Washington. In a Best of 1 match,
the North American team Evil
Genesis beat CDEC Gaming from
Korea. This was historical
because Evil Genesis is the first
North American team to ever win
the International. Each member
of Evil Genesis walked away with
$1,250,082 in prize money.
On March 15, the ESL 1
CS;GO tournament finals
happened in New York. In a best
of 3 set-up, Fnatic from Sweden
beat the team Ninjas in Pajamas
from Sweden.
