REBELLION AT THE WINTER PALACE


There has recently been a huge rebellion outside of Czar Nicholas II's palace at St.
Petersburg. A group of Russian workers demanded freedoms that were oppressed by the
government. Nevertheless, Nicholas took action and order his troops to fire on the workers. The
sight was awfulover 1000 people were wounded. A Russian onlooker, who has chosen to remain
anonymous, says that this is a very bloody Sunday, one filled with onslaught and fear.

CZAR NICHOLAS II IS ABDICATED


The Russian public has made its move to change their government. A protest was sparked
then originated in Petrograd by women textile workers, which eventually led to revolution. The
people wanted the czar to step down from power, which he eventually did. Currently, members of
the Duma are working on a provisional government, which would put Alexander Kerensky in
charge. However, the public is having its doubts of Kerensky's decision to keep Russia in the Great
War.

LENIN TAKES CHARGE


With the failing government Kerensky has put in, Lenin has taken order and has attempted
to reform the government. After ending the Russian Revolution, he has decided to create a New
Economic Policy. This will allow peasants to sell their surplus, which will allow the country's
economy to become restored. Next, Lenin will create the Communist Party, which will unite the
Bolshevik people in the hopes of creating a new constitution with democratic principles.
