Introduction
School is a job and some of us choose to learn while others choose not
to.Teachers are teaching differently. Many years ago, there were classes where the teacher
would take the time to teach about real life and use hands on training to build experience.
We live in a world full of technology; one may say it represents a series of major
developments; others may say it is killing our generation. I say technology helps, but we
could sure do a lot more with it than the way we use it. Teachers can use it to help
students gain knowledge and apply concepts where the students actually apply the lessons
with the right side of the brain where the material will be retained according to scientist
in Duke University The average teenager spends most of his or her time on there cell
phone either texting using apps or using it for music. Hands on experience would seem to
be the better way to teach simply because teaching students by them doing it themselves
or give them the experience to know what is expected of them. Also we can teach them
step-by-step making sure that everything they do is correctly done and if it isn't done
correctly we can help him or her with the situation they are having trouble with.

Secondly bAccording to Purdue University they took a class of eighth graders in

rural Indiana school and they were taught about human impacts on water quality to a

traditional textbook. Then compare their comprehension of those subjects to another five
classes of 8th graders from who we learned about water quality through engineering
design modules. The student is in the latter group were asked to build it waterproof
Acacian device as a way to learn the concepts. As you already engineering design
modules. The suit is in the latter group were asked to build it water purification device as
a way to learn the concepts. The researchers found that the students about to do the hands
on the waterproof Acacian system had a deeper standing up to concerts and students
who had lecture-based lessons especially answers for him in this is not the first language
both groups a total of 126 students were tested before you they lessons and after they
completed the unit. This compares the two sides of students. On one side there is some
students compared with the ones that are being taught on a textbook with the ones that
had the experience on doing it with there hands. Hands on experience is helpful because
it gives the student an opportunity to realize what he or she is doing.

According to a article released by the University of Chicago "Study: Hands-on

Projects May Be Best Way to Teach Engineering and Technology Concepts." Study:
Hands-on Projects May Be Best Way to Teach Engineering and Technology Concepts.
Web. 19 May 2016. Based off of their research they had divided their students into two
groups with some of the students tilting a set of wheel while the other group simply
observed. A post-test showed that those who had actively participated in the experiment
outperformed the students that were observing. This is just simple people who get the
experience to do things will be more proficient in doing them. UChicago put it to the test
and when it came to performance the students were cording to an article made by lowable

to show mastery. The reason why teaching by doing is so important is because it gives

them a sense of what they signed up for.

According to a study made by Globe University"Benefits of Hands-On Learning |

Globe University Blog." Globe University Blog. 2012. Web. 20 May 2016. They stated
that hands on learning for their students is more beneficial in the long run.yes they do
their hands on their environment and give students a better feel for the training material
at hand. If students are given the tools equipment or software this Will benefit students to
learn in many ways. more benefits of hands on learning. It is said those who practice what
they're learning in the hands on can often retain 3 1/2 times as much as opposed to just
sitting in the lecture room and listen intently. I agree to a certain extent. I am better at
learning when I can actually work on it with my hands instead of somebody telling me
how to do it. Globe University also stated the students. That learn by doing it with their
hands get a bigger ego, inspiration and motivation to do better since it becomes a lot
easier for them to learn teach to other peers.

A good example of a person who succeeded with hands on experience is Mr

Henry Ford. Henry Ford did not go to college.mr. Ford came up with the model T Ford
and the 1900s. Model T Ford was first invented for the people that had money. Henry
ford more known for the production line to mass-produce vehicles was also the cofounder
for America muscle. Henry Ford was not educated enough to know how to make a
vehicle but he started slow and learning himself how to do simple things. He learn how to
put specific components together until he finally made the prototype of the Ford Model T

and mad the first vehicle. If he had not worked without figuring it out himself the car
might of never been invented. Instead he decided to work on it learning step by step until
making the assembly line and making it affordable for anybody to get a car.The reason
why I brought up Mr. Henry Ford is because Henry Ford is A successful businessman but
in order for him to become to successful business men that you stay he didn't have
somebody teaching him instead he learned how to do it himself he learned that each
component of the car must be intact and must be specific for the car to run. He has been
dead for some time now his legacy continues in ford industries. Ford is one of my role
models because learning from physically doing treat experience and knowledge.
Comparing to those students that have not done something physically they do not have
the experience that of one

In conclusion after doing the research for this project I have come to the conclusion that
in order for us to get a better education. They're simple steps we need to take one is
creating more hands-on experience classes. This will help us achieve certain goals. Hands
on experience will help us get up in front of the people who have had the opportunity to
listen intently to the instructor. If you like to create a environment where students Can
teach themselves how to do specific things and then strict just making sure that what they
have done is correct we can create a way of learning that will interest every student who
put them ahead of the game. Many students will also be stressful leave because instead of
taking in exam they will need to show mastery of your skill of what they have learned.
Teaching other people what they have learned and the simple steps the need to take
before doing something is a bigger way of education and somebody teaching us how to
do or solve a specific problem by teaching us verbally instead of physically. I believe that

we are to succeed these classes must be joint hands on experience will also help but
lecturing students will also help as well. Lecturing since were given the knowledge of the
basic functions of the course would hands-on experience would give them experience on
actually doing the work.this has motivated me to work on things that I have never done
before so I get the knowledge and experience that other people have not had I worked
hard in construction for some time to learn the basic tools and to get a feeling of the job
also have done other jobs. I don't my experience I believe that learning by someone
teaching you how to do it step-by-step is a lot easier then if you wore to read it get
lectured by and then do it yourself. Purdue university UC Chicago and Globe University
have all had articles where they agree with my statement.
