OVERALL COMMENTS BY PRINCIPAL:

I really enjoyed being in you class and seeing how the lesson was broken up into:
introduction of new information- real world connections- and break away
independent work with a partner. You were also able to throw some cross
curricular connection in there and Awesome!! They had fun seeing the weather
forecasts and calculating the difference between the highs and lows, as well as
comparing temperature from one place to another.
Time management was excellent; the kids didnt have a chance to get antsy or
too distracted. There were a few times that students became chatty but I think
that they were just excited about the lesson. It was nice to see that the kids
were engaged and happy.
The gum chewing differentiation was really interesting; I know that you
mentioned that Diana introduced it as a way to help the student concentrate. I
have seen a couple of other teachers do this from time to time and one teacher
even had he students all chew gum during every exam. If you think it might help
with class concentration, it might be an interesting thing to try.
Thank you for all you do, I know that you have been very patient this year and
