Tata Marcopolo (officially Tata Marcopolo Motors Ltd.) is a bus and coach manufacturing
company with Manufacturing bases at Lucknow and Dharwad.
A Joint Venture between Tata Motors and Marcopolo S.A.
Largest Manufacturers of Buses in India
Tata Marcopolo Started using Solid works since its inception in 2007.
Marcopolo S.A., the prinicpal partners also use SolidWorks
TMML started using SolidWorks for concept design and mainly AutoCAD for design detailing
As even AutoCAD does not have PLM integration, TMML started to look at the possibilities to
attach 2 d drawings with PLM
This resulted in mark improvement in the design process and TMML pursued both Siemens
and Mark Design to find an innovative solution for PLM Solidworks integration
