individual,itsrevolutionarylegaldocuments(DeclarationofIndependenceandConstitution)
notonlysparkedworldwiderevoltsbutalsoestablishedaprecedentofallowingthepeopleto
possesslibertiesthatcouldntbetakenaway.Forthelongesttime,Americacertainlywasthe
cityuponthehill,uponwhichothernationslookedupto.However,everyonehastheir
demons,andtheUnitedStatesisnoexception.Withtheheinousactsofgenocidebackinits
foundingtotherecentNSAspyingandGuantanamothereiscertainlyabackandforthwith
thescaleofmorality.Howeverthroughoutitshistory,theAmericanpeoplehavealways
stoodbyitsgovernment,nearlysupportingeveryendeavor.Allofthatwentoutthewindow
whenEdwardSnowdenrevealedthattheNSAhadspiedonthepeoplewithoutthem
knowing,whichposesthequestion,whatelsedowenotknowabout?
IchoseMemesbecausetheyareaquick,informalwaytogetyourmessagetoabroad
audience.Withtheexampleofmymeme,anyonewhohasaccesstosocialmediacanviewmy
memeandgetitsshortandsweetmessage.Itsatisfiesthosewhodistrustgovernment,orwho
questionauthorityingeneral.Itcanalsoberelatabletoeverycitizenwhosepoliticiansare
lackluster.Lastly,itspeakstotheNativeAmericanswhowerevictimsofgovernmentinthepast

(hencetheuseofanIndianchief).Amemedoesntrequireformalgrammarorpunctuation,so
slangandabbreviationsareacceptableandencouraged.Simplifiedvocabularyisalsonecessary
inordertoreachawideaudience,andallowsfortheyounger(aswellasolder)generationsto
understandanddigestthemessage.Theyalsousehumortogettheirpointacross,often
includinghiddenreferencestopopcultureorcurrentevents.Memesalsouseanappealingimage
tocapturetheaudience'sattention,usuallyselectingcartooncharactersoranimals.Insome
ways,thememeisthemosteffectivewayofreachingyouraudience.
Ichosethediaryentrybecauseitallowsforinformalities,becauseyouaretheonly
audiencesoyoucantailorthemessagetoyourneeds.Withmyexample,Iusedalotofslangand
abbreviationsinordertosavemyselfsometime.Adiaryusuallyisdated,includesasmall
introduction,andusesinformalpunctuationandgrammarandisaquickwaytowriteyour
thoughtsdown.Adiaryisveryappealingbecauseitnowhasvariousformsthankstothe
introductionwithblogs,vlogs,anddigitalmemos.Dependingofthetypeofdiary,itcanalso
provideagreatdealofprivacy,whichcanprovideapeaceofmindtotheauthor.Thereason
whyIchosetouseawrittendiaryentryformyexampleisbecauseitisnowtheonlyprivate
optionnowadays,sincetheGovernment,Advertisers,andHackershavetheabilitytotrackones
digitaltrailonline.Usingawrittendiaryentrywouldpreventanyentityfromfollowingme
aroundandlearningaboutme.
Ifoneweretolookateachagemankindhasachieved,itwouldcertainlybefollowedby

authorities).Theexamplepresentintheportfolioisagreatexampleofusinganad(aswellas
satire)togetyourpointacross.Thepointofthemessageisacriticismonreally,everybody,as
everyoneusuallyjusttendstotakepeopleswordforitwithoutquestioningthecredibility,source,
orinformationoftheirmessages.Thisposteradservesasareminderthatwemustalwaysbe
alert,andusethatbrainforsomethingsothatwedontbecomepassivesheep.
TheInstagrampostissimilartotheMemeinthefactthatitappealstoabroadaudience,
andletsashortmessage(imageorvideoincluded)tobeviewed.However,thebeautyofthe

theAmericanpeopledidntknow.AnotheradvantageofusinganInstagrampostisthatyou
knowyoullreachanaudience,becauseallofyourfollowerswillseeyourpostscrollingthrough
yourfeed.WithInstagramyourmessagewillalwayshaveanaudience,nomatterwhatitis.
WhetherornottheUnitedStatesismoretyrannicalthanbenevolentdoesntmatter
becauseitisnotthepointofthisactivity,butrathertoserveasanimportantPSA/LifeLessonto
remindeveryonetonottakethingsastheyareandtogettothebottomofeverythingthemselves.

ImafraidIwontbeheremuchlonger,becauseIbelievethattheyareafterme.Aftershifting
throughtheinternetresearchingpoliticiansandgovernmentprogramsIhavediscoveredthat
thegovernmenthasbeenlyingtousallalong.TheNSAhasbeencontinuouslyexpandingits
methods,andhavebeenflyingplanesanddronesoverAmericanhomestogathermoredataon
them.Clintonisboughtbythebanks,andgathersherfundsfromtheClintonFoundationwhich
initselfisacorruptandfraudulentorganization.If9/11wastrulyconductedbyterrorists,then
whydidtheFBImakehastetodisposeofthetwentyeightpagereportandthreatento
assassinateTrumpforinvestigatingit?Ialsokeepseeingmoreandmorechemtrailsthroughout
thearea,andeveryfiveminutesIhearanotherheliorplanegoby.Iwillcontinueinvestigating
this,IllfindthetruthbutIdoknowthatgovernmentcantbetrusted
