Abstract - This paper is a Case Analysis on Mind Control

Case. The case was below and the problems are on the
following:
You an ECE engineer, are leader of a team of Filipino
drone experts and engineers. Your team developed a
unique way to control drones through brain wave
technology (very unique at this time), and monitor them
through voice technology (quite rare but few competitors).
The safety issues with these new technologies are unknown
but expedient product to market timing is critical
meaning you have to be ahead of competitors.

Drones are known as an aircraft without its pilot. It is a flying

robot. The aircraft may be remotely controlled or can fly
autonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their
embedded systems working in conjunction with GPS. These
are most often been associated with military but they are also
used for search and rescue, surveillance, traffic monitoring,
weather monitoring and firefighting, among other things.
Other applications include drone surveillance and drone
journalism, because drones can often access locations that
would be impossible humans to go to.

You want to develop, manufacture and sell the technology

(not actual drones). You dont have money you need
1000, including working capital to develop prototypes.
PROBLEM 1:
Prepare a 3-minutes presentation with a target audience
comprised of angel investors and venture capitalists to give
you all the money needed to finance the project. Your
classmates are the potential investors. You must be able to
convince them the concept is extremely profitable. Identify
also your target market or customers.
PROBLEM 2:
List the rights and obligations of all stakeholders: you, the
financiers, design team, customers; citing relevant
reference as much as possible. Again: it is the technology
and not the drones that is your major concern.
INTRODUCTION

Your brain is made up of billions of brain cells called neurons,

which use electricity to communicate with each other. The
combination of millions of neurons sending signals at once
produces an enormous amount of electrical activity in the
brain, which can be detected using sensitive medical
equipment (such as an EEG), measuring electricity levels over
areas of the scalp.
The combination of electrical activity of the brain is
commonly called a brainwave pattern, because of its cyclic,
"wave-like" nature.

Voice recognition implies only that the computer can take

dictation, not that it understands what is being said.
Comprehending human languages falls under a different field
of computer science called natural language processing.

ANSWERS TO PROBLEMS
Answer to Problem 1:
My target audiences are my classmates which will be my
potential investors. The presentation will be how the
technology makes things easier. Drones are aircrafts without
pilot. It can also access locations that are difficult humans to
go to. With the use of drone, it will be easy. But with our new
technology using brain waves and voice recognition, it will be
easier for the owner to use it without using remote controllers.
With just the use of the brain waves, you can control your
drones. For others that want to control their drones with
personal use, they can use their own voice. Voice recognition
will be simulated on the software of the drone that only the
owner will be able to use it and prevents thieves from using it
on other purpose. For the investors, it will be the first
technology that will be implemented to our country and first
technology that will be using worldwide. The said technology
is affordable due to its quality that it will be doing and it will
be the first technology that will use brain waves and voice
recognition that are rare.
Answer to Problem 2:
The stakeholders are the founder, financiers, design team, and
customers. After a potential investor invests to the new
technology, I should give rewards to my employees for
making the project successful. It is under Article No. 6713,
Rule V Incentives and Rewards System, Sec. 1, Incentives
and rewards shall be granted to officials and employees who
have demonstrated exemplary service and conduct on the basis
of their observance of the norms of conduct laid down in
Section 4 of the Code. It is a must that I will give incentives
and rewards to my employees and partly the share of the
money the investors invested to it.
