BEGIN
SCENE 1 EXT: EMPTY PARKING LOT - NIGHT
Noahs father is walking in a dark empty parking lot, while
a mysterious person is waiting in a corner of the same lot.
This mysterious person is playing with a lighter, in hearing
the footsteps of Noahs father, walks towards him. The
mystery person shoots him and runs away.
SCENE 2 INT: HOUSE - DAWN
Noah is lying on the floor of his home, slowly regaining
consciousness. He sees a briefcase near him which triggers a
flashback.
SCENE 3A INT: CAFE - MORNING
Noah is sitting at a table in a Cafe. He is waiting for
someone while reading a newspaper about the recent death of
his father.
NOAH CARTER (VOICE OVER)
My father. They say it was a
robbery. I say he was purposely
murdered. My father is an arrogant
business man. I know what hes like
and im certain he had many rivals,
people he stepped all over and
used.
Ava Colosi enters the room.
AVA COLOSI
Noah.
She gives Noah a hug, giving her condolences.
AVA COLOSI
I heard about your father.
NOAH CARTER
Yeah, well, who hasnt?
AVA COLOSI
Im so sorry.
They talk about his father entrusting the family business
and wealth to Noah.
AVA COLOSI
It must be tough, especially with
the business and all.

NOAH CARTER
Definitely. Im left to deal with
the company, along with finishing
commerce studies. The hour after i
was told about his death, his
lawyers already contacted and set
up meetings with me.
AVA COLOSI
Thats right, he always planned for
you to take over after him.
NOAH CARTER
Right, well, I didnt expect to
take over like this. Its too
soon...Anyways, what happened to
you? You disappeared on me for a
week.
They talk more. During the Voice over, Ava puts a cigarette
in her mouth but puts the back in her pocket, lipstick
stained, realizing she did not have a lighter.
NOAH CARTER (VOICE OVER)
Ava Colosi. The only person who has
bothered talking to me in person
about my Father. Everyone else is
too afraid to bring it up. She is
like me. People fear us, scared of
the words that might come out of
our mouths.
They are conversing, after a while, they walk out of the
Cafe.
SCENE 3B EXT: OUTSIDE THE CAFE - MORNING
They have just exited the Cafe. Before Noah and Ava are
about to part ways they both lean in for a kiss. Ava pulls
back just before their lips touch. She has a mischievous
smile and walks away keeping her smirk. When Noah is quite a
distance away, Ava begins to make a phone call.
SCENE 4A INT: BUSINESS OFFICE - AFTERNOON
Noah is in the family company building. He walks into an
office where he meets his fathers lawyer.
THOMAS SANTOS
Mr Carter. Im your fathers estate
Attorney.

NOAH CARTER
I know. Im here to sort out the
bank account documents and business
access details, right?
THOMAS SANTOS
Yes.
They sort out files regarding his fathers will and Noah
receives a briefcase containing important documents with the
bank account details of their business.
THOMAS SANTOS
Just read this and sign here to
finalize everything.
Noah then exits with the briefcase in hand.
SCENE 4B EXT: OUTSIDE OF BUILDING - AFTERNOON
Noah exits the building, a minor company associate, Aiden,
opens the door for him.
AIDEN COLOSI
Mr Carter.
As Noah walks further from the building, Aiden sends a text.
AIDEN COLOSI
"Hes taking it with him"
SCENE 5A EXT: NOAHS STREET - DUSK
Noah is heading home. Ava is sitting at the path in front of
Noahs home, she is on her phone. He is surprised to be
greeted by Ava at his porch/front yard. He invites her
inside his home.
NOAH CARTER
Ava?...Come in.
SCENE 5B INT: NOAHS HOME - EVENING
Ava and Noah enter the house. Ava keeps close watch on Noah
as he puts the briefcase away in a cabinet. He then prepares
them a drink. They talk and seem really friendly.
NOAH CARTER (VOICE OVER)
Her. Shes tired. Ive never seen
her so timid. Her lips. Always
coated in red. But this time, they
dont seem as bold as they always
do.

SCENE 5C EXT: NOAHS STREET - MORNING

Noah wakes up and sees that Ava is not beside him. Ava is
outside on the phone talking to Aiden, her brother.
AVA COLOSI
Aiden. I didnt do it, i cant do
it.
AIDEN COLOSI
Stick to the plan! weve already
invested so much in this! You cant
back out now! (murmur)
AVA COLOSI
Youre my brother! Youre supposed
to be looking out for me. And im
telling you, i really cant do it.
AIDEN COLOSI
Fine. Ill do it. But im getting
the bigger share.
AVA COLOSI
Tonight. Hell be out tonight. Its
in the cabinetAiden hangs up. Ava looks at the phone, looks at Noahs
house and walks away.
SCENE 6A INT: NOAHS HOME - LATE NIGHT (2-3AM)
Aiden breaks into Noahs home in pursuit of the brief case.
He is looking through all drawers and cabinets. He finds it
and takes it, but is suddenly confronted by Noah. Noah grabs
Aiden by the shirt and punches him. Aiden falls back and
drops the brief case. Aiden pulls out a gun, Noah quickly
smacks his hand and the gun goes flying and slides across
the floor. They fight. At the end they both end up
struggling to gain possession of the gun. A gunshot is
heard. Aiden falls to the floor. Noah is shaken, sees the
brief case and rushes towards it. But before he grabs it, A
shadow/figure hits him from behind and knocks him out. (We
later find out that this is Ava).
SCENE 6B INT: NOAHS HOME - DAWN
Noah wakes up from unconsciousness. He looks around, sees
the briefcase, the gun and Aidens body on the floor. He
rushes to the briefcase and opens it. When he opens it there
is nothing but a lipstick stained cigar. He is shocked and
realizes that Ava had betrayed him.

SCENE 7 EXT: TRANSPORT STATION - EARLY MORNING

The car arrives in front of the airport, the driver gets
out of the car and opens the car door for Ava. Ava gets out
of the car with a small luggage bag in one hand and her
passport and boarding pass on the other.As she walks away
from the car the driver taps her on the shoulder.
DRIVER
Miss, You left this.
The driver hands the lighter to her. Ava takes it and gives
a smirk. She enters the building, the doors shut behind her.
