In response to your recent advertisement on your website regarding the event management trainee program, I
would like to apply as a candidate for the program. I am currently in my second year of Bachelor in Event
Management and Marketing at Inti Univeristy & Colleges Subang Jaya. Although I am only in my second year
of degree, but the knowledge and hands-on experiences that I have gained so far has made me a strong
candidate for the event management trainee program.
One of the projects during my degree was to organize a Korean Fair event. During this event, I had the
opportunity to be a group leader, leading five other group members. I enjoyed having the responsibility of
managing a group, which was in charged of the logistic, arrangement of booths and the security of the event. As
the group leader, I initiated a brainstorming session, which then led to the initiation of different duties and
responsibilities to each group member. Also, I have also lent a helping hand whenever my group members have
encountered any form of challenges and obstacles. Although this event was not considered as a massive event,
but through this event, it has helped me to demonstrate and improve my leadership skills and also to have a
deeper understanding about my flaws and strengths. All in all, I am confident that I am the right fit for the event
management trainee program.
