SOME OF THE MAJOR AND COMMON ISSUES THAT PEOPLE ARE FACING IN
THESE AREAS:
Ground Water Problem
Affect in air, water and greenery.
Electrification
Lack of Public Transportation, sanitation and drainage.
Lack of Development in Education.
Pollution created by Industries.

SOLUTIONS FOR THE ISSUES:

1. GROUND WATER PROBLEM: The major ground water related issue and problem is of
deep ground water levels, declining water levels and in some parts of Moradabad town ground
water is highly polluted.

The rooftop rainwater harvesting technology should be adopted and recharge structures may
also be constructed in depression areas where water gets accumulated during rainy season.
2. POLLUTION CONTROL: The pollution in Moradabad has been further
aggravated by the rapid industrialisation . With the installation of the proposed
effluent treatment plants, at a cost of Rs 40 crores, the water pollution caused by
the thermal plant and the hospitals, is likely to be minimised in the years to come.

To control pollution, water bodies, soil and air, the discharge of pollutants in the
form of gases, liquids or solids should be strictly controlled.

3. SOCIETY IMPROVEMENT: Involve interior designers who will give practical

solutions on how to beautify societies and beautify societies and streets and thus
the whole mission will turn into not just clean Moradabad but beautiful Moradabad.

4. EDUCATION: It is better to provide the poor childrens skill based education like
basic courses like I.T.I, crafts ,dairy ,carpentry etc which will have better safe
employment option rather than core labor.

5. PROPER SANITATION: Everyone knows that A sound mind in sound body. It

does matter to have better toilet and clean environment near in, society, school,
specially for girls without these its difficult to stay in school.

6. ELECTRIFICATION: We can build more capacity, use nuclear sources and so onyes we can, but I believe that there are fundamental issues with the Indian society
and policies, which when addressed can solve large part of our energy requirements
with the already installed capacity and some of these are: Public awareness and
responsibility, Increase efficiency in producing and distributing electricity, Use
International models for eg- Switzerland has a very good model.

7. WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT: It also plays a vital role as most of the

diseases and infection takes birth from the waste water. Proper treatment of
the waste water should be done so as to minimise the use of fresh and
drinkable water for washing or any other casual purpose.
8. SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT.
9. STORM WATER DRAINS.
10. IN VILLAGES ENCOURAGE BIO GAS PLANT.
11. STRONG ACTION, FINE IMPOSITION AGAINST POLLUTION OF LAKES,
RIVERS AND CREEKS.
