SOME OF THE MAJOR AND COMMON ISSUES THAT PEOPLE ARE FACING IN
THESE AREAS:
Ground Water Problem
Affect in air, water and greenery.
Electrification
Lack of Public Transportation, sanitation and drainage.
Lack of Development in Education.
Pollution created by Industries.
The rooftop rainwater harvesting technology should be adopted and recharge structures may
also be constructed in depression areas where water gets accumulated during rainy season.
2. POLLUTION CONTROL: The pollution in Moradabad has been further
aggravated by the rapid industrialisation . With the installation of the proposed
effluent treatment plants, at a cost of Rs 40 crores, the water pollution caused by
the thermal plant and the hospitals, is likely to be minimised in the years to come.
To control pollution, water bodies, soil and air, the discharge of pollutants in the
form of gases, liquids or solids should be strictly controlled.
4. EDUCATION: It is better to provide the poor childrens skill based education like
basic courses like I.T.I, crafts ,dairy ,carpentry etc which will have better safe
employment option rather than core labor.
6. ELECTRIFICATION: We can build more capacity, use nuclear sources and so onyes we can, but I believe that there are fundamental issues with the Indian society
and policies, which when addressed can solve large part of our energy requirements
with the already installed capacity and some of these are: Public awareness and
responsibility, Increase efficiency in producing and distributing electricity, Use
International models for eg- Switzerland has a very good model.
