A CRITIQUE ON LECTURE 31 DELEVERED BY ALI MIRZA JHELUMI.

IJMA' means consensus, that is, acceptance of a matter by a

specified group of people. In Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) the
matter on which ijma' is of interest is understood in Any matter
related to Shari'ah .

Types of ijma'

1]Explicit (Al- Ijma Al qauli:). This type of ijma' takes place as follows: A question arises and
people express their different views. Then there is discussion on these views and finally a common
position is agreed upon.
Example:= Ijma on the Khliafah of Saiyiduna Muaviah after the Bai-ah of Saiyiduna H:asan RD..
2] Silent ( ijma' sakuti). If an opinion is expressed by some and their contemporaries, after learning
about it, have made no comments either in favor or against, then we have what is known
as silentIjma.
Ijama on the Khilafah of Abu Bakr RD prior to the Bai-h of
Bai-h it is CVERTAINLY AL IJMA: AL QAILI.

Saiyidina Ali RD. Posterior to His

[Both are Qat:I in case of Abu Bakr RD].

Silent ijma' is not a conclusive proof except in thefollowing cases:=
1]It is of As:S::h:a:bah suhaba. 2] In the case it remains in place for a period of time [ like
Takhs:i:s of Ghla:f of Black Colour for Kabnatullah. 3] in case circumstances establish that silence
meant approval [Example: Allowance to offer prayers on loud speakers. Once there was a dispute
but now a Silent Ijma: is established which is likely to be converted in to Explicit Consensus in
future Insha: ALL-H.
A PRINCIPLE OF IJMA::-

1.

The group involved in the consensus (Whether Qauli or S-ku:ti:) Of All Muslims of a
particular time

in which some exceptions

2]Those who suffer from mental disorder:

3]Heretics like Khavarij, Mutazilites etc. [Many Heretic Scholars still follow the heretic view if
Mutazilites that Quran is not UnCreated, or ALL-H niether Cannot be seen After Qiya:mah nor
shall not be seen; Astaghfarullah.]
4] Such ignorant people who have no knowledge.

Ali Mirza purports that he believe in Ijma: [Consensus].

He presents a number of articles on Ijma: .
But wisely he did not state a number of Ijma a:t.
There is a wisdom[H:ikmah]] behind not stating them.
So we shall provide a number of them which he did not state.
1]Ijma: on the Khilafah of Saiyidunah Muaviah RD [after Saiyiduna H:asan RD
accepted His Khilafah].
2]Ijma: on the 30 parts of Qura:n.
3]Ijma: on the following.
3.1] Fath must be upon the Letter.
3.2] D:-MM-H must be upon the Letter.
3.3] Kasrah must be below a leeter [with the possible exception of few cases
(possible exception but not necessary exception)].
4] Ijma: on the belief that the denial of Divine Attributes of ALL-H is Wrong and
Incorrect.
5]Ijma: on the Beatific Vision of ALL-H [RU:YATUL BA:RI:]
6]Ijma: on the belief that the Voljuntary acts and doings of Human, Jinn beings
[ Created Rational Supposita] are Creations of ALL-H.
8] Ijma: on the belief that Deity is not in any Creation.
9]A)Ijma: on the belief that no Creation is Associated with the Essence of ALL-H.
B) Ijma: on the belief that no Creation Exist in the Essence and Esse [Existence] of
ALL-H.
10] Ijma: on the belief that No Narrator of Holy Books of Bukha:ri and Muslim is
Weak with certainity.
11]Ijma: on the belief that Justice is not Necessary [Va:jib] upon Deity.

12] Ijma: that

H:-lu:l is Shirk [Schirc/Shirc].

We have presented a number of Ijma: which Engineer Ali: Mirza: did not state for
some wisdom behind his wise silence.
A REQUEST TO THE FOLLOWERS AND AUDIENCE OF ENGINEER ALI: MIRZA: .
According to Ali Mirza Ijma: is one of the four H:-J-J of Shari:ah.
But he does not state a number of Ijma: just because he did not like them or even
criticized them.
We have written some of them which are disliked by Engineer Ali: Mirza: .
He did not state them also because he does not want his followers to know the
truth.
