About Core Meditations

Although each of our four methods are unique, they all have a common
thread that ties them together - they are all Core Meditations. What
are Core Meditations? They are ancient techniques that have the
capacity to take you to the deepest states of consciousness, in which
you can experience your Innermost Essence... your Inner Spirit or Core
Self.
Deep within you - at the very deepest level of your being - is a wellspring of nourishing vital energy. This energy is the source of your
aliveness, as well as the source of health and well-being, of inner
peace and joy, and many other aspects of fulfillment. Your Core Self is
the part of you that is connected to this well-spring.
Core Meditations are techniques for connecting with your Core Self. By
connecting with your Core Self, you tap into this well-spring, allowing
the energy to begin flowing freely through all branches of your life physical, emotional, mental and spiritual - thereby nourishing, elevating,
enhancing and healing them... helping them to flourish and function
more smoothly and effectively.
There are many types of meditation. Virtually all of them are beneficial
in some way, (and there are Core Meditations other than the four
methods covered in this course.) What are the unique advantages of
Core Meditations?
1. Their capacity to take you to the deepest states of awareness.
2. Their ability to produce immediate results, both in meditation and in
your life.
3. Their power to greatly accelerate your growth.
4. Their broad range of benefits.
5. You can practice them on your own.
Please note: The depth and power of these meditations is based on
turning your attention inward. Therefore, after you have been guided
into each meditation, you will be given time to meditate quietly on your
own (with the exception of a few gentle reminders inserted at various
times during the session).
I am aware that many beginning meditators prefer being guided all the
way through a meditation. This is generally because it helps them stay
focussed. But since we've dispelled the misconception that staying
focussed is the aim of meditation, you'll understand why I won't be
guiding you all the way through our meditations.
