Discrimination/Racism
Under the Same Sun, helps people with albinism in
Tanzania to overcome the struggles of discrimination. They
do this through telling the truths about albinism, providing
care for those who have the condition. As well as,
educating and creating jobs for people with albinism. Habo,
who is an Albino, is discriminated often by people and even
his own family members. He is chased away by Alasiri, who
has trys to kill Habo in Mwanza.
Does Habo really have to go to school? Well Look at

Homelessness
Habitat for Humanity, makes affordable housing for people
who cannot afford residential houses. By creating a house
for people to live in, the impact could go much further.
They could get the confidence to go back to school to get a
post secondary education, upgrade their job skills, or even
learn a new trade. Habo and his family are homeless after
the tax collectors kick them out of their farm Arusha. They
plan to walk all the way to Mwanza to Habos Aunt's house.
But then are picked up by Alasiri.

Poaching
H.O.P.E., (Humanitarian Operations Protecting Elephants), is a nongovernmental organization that delivers world class solutions to
challenges in natural resource conservation.. Alasiri, is a pocher, which
Habo and Chui experience first hand, as they are brought along with
him, to one of the kill elephant kill sites. They both are put to work,
cutting up and loading Alasiris truck with ivory.
