Del Sly visits the home of Markus Zarael during the day and sees that he has a m
anservant there during the day.
We try to concoct a plan to get Markus out of his office during the day.
Del visits Neria to get her to order some perfume. She is intrigued.
Del (as Mr. Obermeyer) visits Markus to order the perfume. {Saffron Oil}
Tommorrow afternoon at three, we are to meet at his office.
That night Hex breaks into the office, with Del (as Blind Beggar Joe) and Cam (a
s a dog walker passing by) and another gang member all as look outs.
It did not go well.
A couple of blue coats noted the mess and cornered Hex in the alley. Cam tried
to intervene, but the cop he called over decided to arrest him. Having none of
that, Cam loosed the dog on the guy.
Unfortunately, his buddy tried to take a shot at Cam. Blind Beggar Joe could not
get there in time to interveve. Hex decided to save Cam, and shot and wounded t
he cop about to fire. Blind Beggar Joe distracted the injured cop, and Cam ran
over and stabbed the the cop to death.
The other cop injured and then killed Hex's dog. Hex took him out, but it was t
oo late.
Alarms sounded, Cam fled and Blind Beggar Joe stayed on the seen to tell the cop
s what he heard (and distract them as well.
The blue coats caught up with Hex and nearly killed him.
When he stumbled in, we weren't sure he would make it. Cam checked up the stree
t both ways, and locked the door.

Heronimus Flint, the importer (an Importer of Leviathon Blood). {A smuggler and
gang member}
Wants us to check out the current owner of the warehouses he is buying down by t
he dock [Warehouses 1-7.]
We agreed on 100 silver hawks a day + expenses for each man on the case. This ra
te is only valid if (and only if) the client gives us full dislosure. [Flint i
ndicates that if we hold back (relavant) details, we get nothing.]
[Jingo] Del (as Blind Beggar Joe) goes down and check it out. He sees the previ
ous owner is moving his stock out. Our 'Shadows' help him run shifts casing the
place.
Cam meets with his friend Jeren the Bluecoat archivist. Cam asks Jeren to find
who owns the place, is there more crime than usual, some special assessment/texa
tion, is the place condemned, etc.
[Tony] Hex Rowan (the hound) has his spy friend Valerius try to gather info.

Del has his prostitute (madam) friend Neria have her girls listen for info on th
e deal.
Jeren brings me back a document that is a request for inspection of the property
by spirit wardens. It is about 6 months old, made by Markus Zarael. These take
about 3 months to complete.
Three months ago is when the warehouses went on sale.
Del reports to Flint what we know so far.
Del and Hex go and check out the warehouse at night. They break in, and get out
but gather no info. Worse yet, Hex was seen by the Blue coats.
Speaking to a bartender friend of mine, a bald guy named Nabi, I hear that Marku
s is legit businessman Importer/Exporter. Nothing illegal, but not above taking
advantage of a situation. Markus is stressed out over his dealing recently.
