Malaysian Flowers
Hibiscus
The hibiscus is found in tropical countries all over the world. It is the national flower
of Malaysia. It stands for peace and bravery. The flowers petals are light and fine.

Ixora
The ixora is one of the best known garden shrubs in Malaysia. Its buds look like
noodles. It blooms all year round and comes in a variety of colours, with the most
common being bright red. Ixoras make good hedges.
Orchid

parasites in nature as they grow on wild or dead trees.

Bougainvillea
The bougainvillea is famous as a garden plant and is commonly used for

Yellow Allamanda
The allamanda is a common shrub which flowers all year round. It is now widely
