SUB: Notice before filing consumer complaint
Dear Sir,
This is regarding an online hotel booking services which I used through your website whose details is furbished below:
a) Booking ID: NH2106215160966
Hotel details : Kala laxmi executive hotel , Aurangabad
Date: 24 dec 2015-26dec 2015
Payments: online in advance
Status after booking: confirmed with voucher
b) I received a voucher confirming my booking at the hotel for two days.
c) I reached hotel at 3am on 25th Dec and claimed for room as per your voucher , but they denied by giving a
reason that my booking is false as hotel rooms was packed for last two days and online booking is barred from
hotel side .
I called customer care and reported my problem but they said that I was my mistake as I have not reported hotel
that Im not check in at 12pm. (however his point was invalid as booking time was 2pm 24 Dec and if your
website shown me available hotel than there is no point of no show or not reporting to hotel on time.)
Customer care kept me on call for more than hour and not supported me satisfactorily, I tried talking to his
supervisor but after keeping me on hold for more than 1 hour he told me that supervisors are not available and
they cannot support me in any way.
In mid of night I tried with more than 30 hotels but unfortunately I didnt got accommodation that day and
finally I managed to stay at local lodge hall in open area only for washroom for which I paid rs 1800.00
d) Customer care told me that they will call me back and will try to readjust my hotel to some other location, but
nobody called me for two days and after that call came and they apologized with 1000 rs voucher.
e) I would like to know the company responses related to this matter along with below mentioned compensation
Hotel charges refund-1282.00
Local hotel booking charge 1800.00
Compensation for mental harassment as per company policy
I would like to inform the company, that in terms of delay of your responses by more than 15-20days from the date of
receiving this notice I will seek compensation for the mental agony caused due to the lack /mistake of your services as
mentioned in a notice through consumer court as per the consumer protection act .
