b) In the measurement of roughness, the heights and successive 16 peaks and troughs were
measured from the datum and were 18, 42, 25, 35, 22, 36, 18, 42, 22, 32, 24, 36, 16, 38,
23, 40 microns. If these measurements were obtained over a length of 30 mm, determine
(i) Ra (ii) Rz (iii) RMS
