Qubecs Winter Carnival
Winters in the city of Qubec, Canada, are very cold. There is snow and ice
everywhere. The days are short and the nights are very long. The city is beautiful
in the snow. It is a special time to celebrate. The people do that with a big party
that lasts for three weeks. The festival is called Qubec Winter Carnival. It is the
largest festival in the world.
We do many things in the city. People can see stone building and beautiful
churches. You can also see dogs races on the snow. There are also some
restaurants where you can have a good meal. People can go skiing in the
mountains or climb a wall of ice.
There is a special place outside the city. There is a hotel made of ice and
snow. The hotel is open for about three months. The beds are also made of ice.
Many people stay there each year, but they do it only for one night. There are also
regular hotels in the city in case you dont want to stay in the Ice Hotel.
