The Economist Retrieved Febuary 29,2016 from http://www.economist.com From papyrus to pixels is a grand analysis of the readers approach and attitudes towards print media versus electronic media. The printed media is not just the tree flakes,it has preserved and formed ancient civilizations.Historically ,they were considered to be a luxury, but with the passage of time short stories novellas gained the attention of the readers. With the advent of electronic media, the reader found an easy access to the material as well as a good chance of giving feedback.Physical book shops were on decline,as the publishers earn less and invest more, they usually not effectively connect the writers work to the readers and they must revisualize their role, but it doesnot means print media is the story of the past,in fact both finds a value in specific instances.Rigid and old fashioned still prefer to have book shelves along with the tablet devices but in the later days,it will be preferred to make the whole physical collection itself special on emedia.
