Unit 65 Digital Web Animation Assignment 3 Checklist

Explain how you used the following:

Range
Workspace: stage, timeline,
menu bar, toolbar, library, colour
palettes, properties, preferences,
help.

How Used
The stage is where the assets are shown thus creating my
banner. I have resized the stage to a more appropriate size
for the task at hand (1200X200PX)
I have used the menu bar to save my work and I have also
used it to modify the font.
I have used the timeline throughout to edit the length and
timings of the sprites and to add sound into the piece.
I have used the library to add sprite effects to sprites.
I have changed the colour of text from black to white

Screenshot evidence

Basic tools: drawing, eg pencil,

line, pen, brush, shapes; free
transform, eg rotate, skew, distort,
scale, envelope, ruler and
guidelines; editing, eg lasso,
eraser, undo, copy, paste,
duplicate, insert, delete, aligning,
grouping, ungrouping
Objects: symbols, eg instances,
duplicating symbols, swapping
symbols, editing, grouping

I have used undo copy and paste whilst tweaking my work

to get the desired effect. I have also used delete to remove
some of the undesired effects.

I cant really give examples of this

Colour tools: e.g. colour

properties, eyedropper, creating
custom colours, colour swatches,
stroke and fill

I have used the colour pallet to edit the colour of the text
used to display the dates and ticket prices.

Text tools: text, eg editing,

moving, rotating, reshaping,
scrolling, creating text blocks,
converting text to shapes

I have used several text boxes in my product for things like

ticket information and tour dates

Manipulating objects:

N/A

manipulating vector shapes; single

layer vector shape interaction;
transforming and grouping vector
shapes
Animation: frame label; frame
rate; timeline (playhead, layers,
frames, frame rate,
keyframes, onion skinning,
markers); frame manipulation, eg
copying, deleting, reversal;
testing movies; frame by frame
animation; tweening (shape,
motion)

I have used key frames in conjunction with tweening to

create motion paths for my sprites. This has given a good
effect to the product.

Assets: importing, eg raster

images, vector images, sound files,
video files, movie clips;
resizing; bitmap to vector
conversion; asset libraries

I have imported all of the assets at the beginning when I

started creating my Product.

Advanced tools: scenes; guide

layers; masking, eg mask layers,
animated masks; timeline effects,
eg blur, drop shadow, expand,

N/A

explode, transform, transition;

nesting movie clips
Interactivity: scripting;
behaviours; actions; triggers;
buttons; rollovers; playback
control;
preloaders

I have used 3 different rollovers in my product, the first

consists of * images and it is my main logo, the second is
my Prices heading and that uses 2 images and the 3 rd is
the tour dates title that also uses 2 images.
I have also used custom buttons to allow the audience to
choose what they want to see first.
