FOR PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE LEVEL (PCL)-04 EXAMINATIONS

[COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATIONS (CBES) FOR ALL FOUR MODULES 1, 2, 3 & 4 OF SEMESTER-7 & SEMESTER-8]

EXAMINATION TIMETABLE:
The dates for Professional Competence Level (PCL)-04 Examinations are Saturday, June 25, 2016 and Sunday, June 26, 2016. The
detailed schedule for sitting arrangements will be available on ICMA Pakistan website under Notices after the issuance of Admit Cards.
TIME SCHEDULE:
The examinations (both days) at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Faisalabad Examination Centres will be held as per the following
time schedule:
1st Shift: 08:30 Hrs to 10:30 Hrs [PST]; 2nd Shift: 11:00 Hrs to 13:00 Hrs [PST]; 3rd Shift: 14:30 Hrs to 16:30 Hrs [PST].
TIME ALLOCATION:
The duration for each module examination is TWO (2) HOURS.

EXAMINEES PARTICULARS:
Examinees must ensure that they have signed the attendance sheet available with the invigilator before leaving the computer lab, failing
which they will be treated as absent. Examinees must not leave the computer lab without prior permission of the invigilator.

ATTEMPTING MCQs (CBE) PAPER:


The MCQs (CBE) Paper will be attempted on PCs available with the examinees on which the choices will be ticked within the allowed time
from the start (time) of the examination. However, there will be separate working sheet(s) provided to the examinees for calculation
purpose only, which must be returned/ handed over to the invigilator(s) before leaving the computer lab. Moreover, LATE
COMERS WILL NOT BE GIVEN ANY EXTRA TIME for attempting MCQs (CBE) Paper. The detailed guidelines for attempting the MCQs
(CBE) Paper will be given by the I.T. Department, Head Office, Karachi, through a simulation, which is expected to be conducted on
Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 09:00 Hrs to 11:30 Hrs [PST] at your centre.
NO CHOICES OF QUESTIONS:
Examinees are required to attempt all MCQs (questions) given in the CBE paper, i.e., there will be no choices of question(s) in any paper.

PERMISSIBLE CALCULATORS:
Examinees are allowed to use simple and non-programmable scientific calculators of any model.

LATE COMERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED:


An examinee who arrives late by more than FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES will not be allowed to enter the examination premises.
PERMISSION TO LEAVE COMPUTER LAB:
No examinee shall leave the computer lab/ examination premises within the first hour from the start of the examination.

10. NO ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR AMENDMENT(S) IN MCQs (CBE) PAPER:


Examinees shall attempt the MCQs as appeared on computer screen under their own assumption(s). The assumption(s) should be clearly
stated on a separate working sheet, which will be provided to the examinees. The examinees should not raise any query or insist for
correction(s) in MCQs (CBE) Paper during the currency of examination. Announcement of correction(s) in MCQs (CBE) Paper is not made
to save students time.

11. DISALLOWED STUDENTS/ FEE DEFERRED ON REQUEST:


To control unauthorized sitting, updated status of examinees is now being mentioned in the Admit Card such as To Appear, Disallowed
due to ineligibility and Fee Deferred on Request for respective module(s) of Semester(s). In this connection fee adjustment letters on
account of Disallowed and Fee Deferred will be issued by the Finance Department, Head Office, Karachi, in the month of July 2016.
12. PROHIBITED ITEMS WITHIN THE EXAM PREMISES:
Arms & ammunitions etc., are strictly prohibited in the premises of the Institute. In addition, examinees are advised not to carry mobile
phones, laptops, pocket PCs, PDAs, any sort of communication device etc., during examinations. If any examinee found carrying/ using
these gadgets, he/ she will be liable to severe punishment including cancellation of result/ registration. Smoking is also prohibited in the
examination premises.

13. CODE OF CONDUCT:


Examinees are informed that the Code of Conduct of the Institute should be strictly followed in the examination days also, specially the
dress code.
