An Original Greek Myth: Alasmusicana

One day, before civilization was an Indian tribe in Greece where one boy named, Kunta, lived. He
was not any other regular boy, we was one of the most special people in the whole Indian nation. He was
said to be able to speak to a goddess. Kunta had instruments of different shapes and sizes and always
carried around two sticks. Kunta said that the goddess name was Alasmusicana, the creator of sound that
brings rhythm, peace, and joy to the humans. The boy spent his days and nights always beating his sticks
among his instruments creating beautiful sounds and beats, where all the indians would dance in their
costumes and honor the goddess. Kunta decided to call this type of beat making, music, in honor of the
goddess. He didnt only play the music for the her, but as a way to entertain himself.
As he grew older, he came to realize that what he did was a gift. He and Alasmusicana worked
together to spread music. Kunta left his village and traveled through the entire world playing music.
Quickly people started to adapt to this new lifestyle in which people made their own instruments and
played them. As music spread throughout the whole world, there became a more diverse society in which
people incorporated music into rituals and traditions. As ages and generations passed, music became more
familiar in life but people often forget where music was started and how it exists. Alasmusica will forever
be in our life.
