How to Upgrade a 4100ES

Panel and Related .BIN Files

Follow these steps and click the corresponding movie to view the
procedure for upgrading a 4100ES Panel and its related .BIN files.
1. From the ES Programmer, click Transfer, Network, and then Local Panel.
File Transfer software opens.
2. Click the CFIG and all Execs radio button and then the Download button.
3. If necessary, use the Browse button to set the .BIN file path.
4. Verify and, if necessary, select the appropriate Load check boxes for the files to be downloaded.
5. Click the Download button and the files are downloaded to the Master Controllers Compact Flash Memory.
The files are then automatically transferred to the appropriate Slave Cards.
6. When the transfer process is complete, click the Close button and then Close again to exit File Transfer.
