Directions: Take 4 half sheets of paper & fold them in half. Staple the crease. Write the title

Weathering of Rocks on the front cover. Open up the first page. Write the title Frost Wedging. Answer
the questions below in complete sentences (you do not have to rewrite the question) on the page on the left.
Then draw a picture on the page on the right to represent frost wedging. Repeat these steps until you have
covered each topic below. Tell whether each one is mechanical or chemical weathering. Write your name on the

Erosion & Deposition Foldable


Use the Erosion & Deposition power point notes to create a foldable that organizes the information.
**We have done this type of foldable before the Windows into Earth foldable w/ the spheres & parts of
earth vocabulary.
Steps:
1. Turn your construction paper horizontally (landscape).
2. Fold each side towards the middle (3 inch flaps)
3. Make marks on your flaps at the following points:
a. 2 inches
b. 4 inches
c. 6 inches
4. Cut the flaps all the way to the crease at those 3 marks (do this on both sides).
5. On the flaps write the following terms:

6. On the inside of the flap, write the notes that are on each slide of the notes. You can paraphrase, but
make sure you have everything written down.
