For example, last class, you all noticed that I got bit
by a mosquito on my left eye. You all felt sorry for
me, and told to me oh, if I were you, I would close
my window before I go to bed. (write it down on

Let me give you another example, my friend finished
an assignment on her laptop, but she forgot to save it.
And she couldn't find it anywhere on her laptop. I
told her if I were you, I would go to the technology
office for help.
What am I doing here? Do you find anything in
common in these two sentences? Yes, if I were
you, I would is used to give people advice (write it
down on the board).
