Obtain permit to perform the intended activity Illegal operation clash of activities Strict compliance to the MWSPC PTW is mandatory. Permit must displayed in the visible area of activity and the work group must follow the mitigation measures. 2. Preparation of Materials Slip, trip, fall on the same level Organize all materials in proper area to avoid obstruction and paint spillage. 3. Pre-task briefing Exposure to hazardous / chemical atmosphere Wear personal protective equipment like respiratory mask, safety goggles, helmet etc 4. Surface preparation Dust / chemical exposure Use respiratory mask and appropriate hand gloves 5. Painting using roller Paint fumes exposure, Risk of eye injury due to paint Use respiratory mask and safety glass during the from roller head or painted structure, Fire hazard activity. Avoid painting activity near the naked flame or hot work activity. 6. Working at Heights / Temporary Platform Slip and Fall Hazard, Falling objects / materials Working platform must clean and rigid. Ensure guard rail and toe boards are installed. 7. Housekeeping Slip, trip and fall hazard Remove excess painting materials, containers etc and clean the area before leaving.
