Details: On May 25, 2010 at approximately 10:42 pm Deputy G. Hernandez with Precinct
Four Constable Ron Hickman’s Office responded an aggravated assault in the 15500 block
of Ella Blvd. at the LaJolla Apartments. Upon arrival, the complainant stated that she had
been in an altercation with a known female suspect earlier in the day. Later that night when
she was exiting her vehicle she noticed that the suspect had returned to the apartment
complex. The suspect was waiting in a vehicle in the parking lot. As the complainant was
exiting her vehicle the suspect accelerated her vehicle and stuck the complainant’s vehicle.
The suspect then placed her vehicle in reverse and again struck the complainant’s vehicle.
While doing so another complainant injured her ankle and the original complainant was
ran over by the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then exited her vehicle and attempted to start
a physical altercation. The suspect then fled the scene. After being treated by EMS both
complainant’s were transported to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition. The original
complainant sustained a large laceration to her leg. Subsequent investigating identified the
suspect as Kourtney Jones, age 22 of Houston, who was arrested and charged with
Aggravated assault.
