Michigan left turn

Plano is building a “Michigan” left turn at the intersection of

Legacy Drive and Preston Road. Engineers say the unique
layout improves safety and traffic flow.
How it works: Motorists seeking to turn left on to Preston
will, instead, turn right and then make a U-turn at a median
crossover.
