Re: All pre final year students (BE - 3rd year, MCA - 2nd year, ME/ MTech/ MBA/ MSc - 1st year)

The Thapar University lays emphasis on ‘Quality Technical Education’ for its students, and
also believes that providing appropriate training in the ‘soft arts/skills of human interaction
and behavior’ is critical to success in life.

The workshop will provide the students an added advantage and a critical edge during
interviews and later in the industry vis-à-vis their contemporaries from other technical
institutions.

This program is for all the pre-final year students. The workshop will be of four-hour
duration on weekends and University holidays. Each workshop will comprise a maximum of
twenty five (25) students enabling one-on-one interaction.

Workshops will be conducted by Mr Smarth Bali, a global corporate coach and trainer who
has worked in India, USA and Canada, and across several industries.

First workshop will be conducted on 7th August 2010 at 9:45am. ‘Detail Program’ is on website.

To benefit all the pre-final year UG and PG students, this workshop has been made mandatory
with effect from this academic session.

Only those students who participate in the above mentioned workshop will be eligible to appear
for campus placements.

The students will be issued participation certificates.
