Qua vùng tuyết trắng mênh mông1
Bỗng dưng lại thấy em không nói gì.
À ơi! Em đã ngủ rồi!?
Làm anh xao xuyến, bồi hồi xôn xao ...
...
Big Ben2 điểm tiếng đón chào,
Em ơi thức giấc, mình vào Luân Đôn.
Sông Thêm3 nước chảy êm đềm,
Luân Đôn mắt biếc4, môi mềm như em …
...
Sánh đôi dạo bước cùng xem
Luân Đôn thật đẹp, em khen suốt ngày.
Nhưng rồi mình phải chia tay.
Về nơi xa ấy, biết bao ân tình …

Chặng đường từ thành phố Southampton (thành phố Hải cảng ở phía Nam nước Anh) về thủ đô London (nước
Anh) đi qua những cánh rừng bát ngát, phủ đầy tuyết trắng vào những ngày bão tuyết ở châu Âu đầu năm 2009.
Nơi đây có Đại học Southampton nổi tiếng - một trong mười đại học dẫn đầu về nghiên cứu và nằm trong số 15
trường ĐH hàng đầu tại Vương quốc Liên hiệp Anh và Bắc Ireland, lịch sử của trường ĐH Southampton được
ghi dấu bởi nhiều thành tích cao trong học tập và giảng dạy. Hiện nay trường có gần 20.000 sinh viên, với đội
ngũ giáo sư, nghiên cứu và nhân viên quản lí nhà trường khoảng 5.000 người. Trường là thành viên của tổ chức
Russell Group và đồng thời của mạng lưới Worldwide Universities Network.

Tháp đồng hồ Big Ben – một trong những biểu tượng của nước Anh, cao 96, 3m, nặng 9.553 tấn. Big Ben tên
đầy đủ là Tháp đồng hồ của cung điện Westminster là một cấu trúc tháp đồng hồ ở mặt Đông-Bắc của công
trình Nhà quốc hội ở Westminster, London, Anh. Mặc dù được biết đến rộng rãi với cái tên Big Ben, nhưng thực
ra, tên này chính là tên của cái chuông đặt bên trong tháp. Tháp còn hay bị gọi nhầm là St. Stephen's Tower.

Sông Thames: The River Thames is the second longest river in the United Kingdom and the longest river
entirely in England, rising at Thames Head in Gloucestershire, and flowing into the North Sea at the Thames
Estuary. It has a special significance in flowing through London, the capital of the United Kingdom, although
London only includes a short part of its course. The river is tidal in London with a rise and fall of 7 metres
(23 ft) and becomes non-tidal at Teddington Lock. The catchment area covers a large part of South Eastern and
Western England and the river is fed by over 20 tributaries. The river contains over 80 islands, and having both
seawater and freshwater stretches supports a variety of wildlife. The river has supported human activity from its
source to its mouth for thousands of years providing habitation, water power, food and drink. It has also acted
as a major highway both for international trade through the Port of London, and internally along its length and
connecting to the British canal system. The river’s strategic position has seen it at the centre of many events and
fashions in British history, earning it a description by John Burns as “Liquid History”. It has been a physical
and political boundary over the centuries and generated a range of river crossings. In more recent time the river
has become a major leisure area supporting tourism and pleasure outings as well as the sports of rowing,
sailing, skiffing, kayaking, and punting. The river has had a special appeal to writers, artists, musicians and
film-makers and is well represented in the arts. It is still the subject of various debates about its course,

London eye: London Eye, còn được biết đến với cái tên Vòng quay thiên niên kỷ (Millennium Wheel), là vòng
đu quay cao nhất ở châu Âu, màu xanh dùng để ngắm cảnh London và là điểm du lịch đông khách nhất nước
Anh với hơn 3 triệu lượt khách một năm[1]. London Eye nằm ở đoạn cuối phía tây của vườn Jubilee, nằm trên bờ
nam của sông Thames tại London, giữa cầu Westminster và cầu Hungerford.

Westminster Bridge

Westminster Bridge is a road and foot traffic bridge over the River Thames between Westminster,
Middlesex bank, and Lambeth, Surrey bank in what is now Greater London, England.
River Thames: the bridge nearest the camera is Westminster Bridge, the next bridge is Lambeth Bridge,
and bridge just visible in the distance is Vauxhall Bridge
