 PREFACE

Research studies constitute the backbone of any management education programme. A

management student has to quite frequently do the research work during his entire span. The idea
of this study has been conceived as the final project work to be undertaken in the Sixth semester
of the three year full time BBA course and is devoted to ³Consumer¶s perception regarding
various brands of shampoos´.

I am highly gratified that I have done this project and I am obliged to those respected persons
who chose me for this work and I duly ensure this work as an original work of mine and not a
copy work.

The research is statistical in design and extensive analysis is brought to light several facts. The
respondents are satisfied with their brand and they don¶t want to change their present brand with
other brands. In order to analyze the data and draw conclusions, statistical techniques such as
simple average and percentage were used and shown by pie diagrams.
