How I can prepare for a
natural disaster?
To prepare for any disaster, pack a
survival equipment including
Water in unbreakable containers

If you have to evacuate

Never ignore an official warning to evacuate. When told to evacuate, do so


immediately and not wait until the last minute to go. Listen to your radio for
information on exit routes for evacuees.
If time permits, take your emergency supplies. Stay calm and remember that
your safety and your family are more important than your property and personal
property.

If you have time, cut off the gas and light. Always lock your house key to exit

Move quickly but calmly and not risk it. If possible, take a portable radio to listen
to emergency instructions.

Know where to go before leaving and always follow the evacuation routes are
suggested. There may be dangerous obstacles in the alternate routes.
