A guy was walking on a bridge, and ran into a young boy who was fishing. The kid asked him for help,
but the narrator refused at first to help him because of his appearance. He decided to turn around and
help the kid out; he helped him find his bait and catch a fish. Then he realized the kid was blind. Then he
described the fish͛s appearance. When he described the fish for the boy, he realized that he had been
blind too. The narrator is grateful for what the boy taught him: ͞No, my friend, thank you for letting m
see that fish.͟

unity. Obama says we need unity to overcome our ͞empathy deficit͟ and our ͞moral deficit.͟ We
must overcome these deficits to focus on the things we really need to focus on: war, poverty,
injustice and inequality. We need to work together instead working against each other. We work
against each other when stereotype and scapegoat each other. We blame immigrants for taking our
jobs. People who subscribe to religion don͛t understand people who don͛t subscribe to religion and
vice-versa.
