“And we sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, In order that He might make
(the Message) clear for them.

“And make loose the knot (the defect) from My tongue“, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from My
speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of Fire which Musa (Moses) put In his mouth
when He was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159].
"That they understand ‫م‬y speech“
“…and speak to them an effective word (i.e. to believe In Allah, worship Him, obey
Him, and be afraid of Him) to reach their inner selves.”
