After a slow start and completing some patch work paving began on the mainline Wednesday. The
first lift is on the roadway from the school bus turn around to Highway 93. (Nearly 4 miles) Half the
road width from the main highway back to the post office has the second lift in place by Saturday
night. Crews will continue to work this section of roadway and should have the second lift completed
both lanes from the highway to the school bus turnaround Tuesday of this week.
When the first section is complete the crew will turn to the east and continue with the leveling toward
Springer. Completing the recycled sections as they proceed to the main recycle at mile point 12.
The crew will continue working on the upper end of the project until the first lift is complete to the end

We will have flaggers with the process crew that is working the roadway ahead of paving, cleaning

Flaggers and pilot cars will continue to shuttle the traffic through the paving zones. Please be alert
as the trucks work both sides of the roadway at the paver. Stay with the pilot car and don't attempt
to travel through the area with out the pilot car. If you find yourself away from the pilot car pull off
and wait. He will be back usually in less that 15 minutes.
