Games / Amiga / WinUAE

Useful Titbits
1) Kickstart 1.3 emulates the A500’s Workbench 1.3
2) Kickstart 3.0 emulates the A1200’s Workbench 3.0
3) Chipset – OCS=A500 - AGA=A1200
4) RAM – Normally 1Mb Chip RAM, and no other RAM. For old A500 games, 512Kb
RAM
5) Some multi disc games can only use DFO. If you get say ‘Insert Disc 2’ press F12 and
browse to disc 2 in DF0. When I’m aware of this, I’ve included ‘DSwop’ in the name of
the game folder
6) Problems loading? Try:
RAM/DragFastMemorySettingto8Mb/IncreaseSlowMemoryto1Mb
7) Problems loading, and 4) doesn’t help? Try:
Display/ChangeChipser to Full Ecs or AGA
8) Once you’ve got everything just right for a game you’re likely to revisit frequently,
you can save the state (see previous heading)
