2. Enumerate the fundamental rules of humanitarian law applicable in armed

3. What do you mean by civilian population and civilian object? Discuss the rules of
protection of civilian population during war.

4. Describe the limits on the choice of methods and means of warfare.

5. Who is a combatant? What protections are available under international


humanitarian law for prisoners of war? Discuss.

6. Discuss the rules regarding protection of children and women during armed
conflict under international humanitarian law.

7. Discuss the state responsibility to implement international humanitarian law.
