Ths offense occurred at S710 Highiand His Drive, Dalla, Dallas County, Texas, The facs ofthe offense sre as follows On February 24, 20/8, Detective Andrea sem #9272 was noified of the murder that occured at $710 Highland Hills Drive and responded to the location asthe lead detective. Detective Isom was notified that at about 2:19pm, complainant Nequacia Jacobs was stinding in the window of her 2” floot apartment residence (#235) wih her sister, Trameicia Jacobs. Suspect Jeremy Lamont Warren approached the apartment cemplex and began shooting atthe 2" floor apartment, Complainant Nequacia Jacobs was shot and killed, aed her sister, Tremeea Jacobs was aso shot ut survived her injuries, Suspect Warcen then fled ‘he location by driving away in a white Dodge Charger. The offense was captured on surveillance video ick depicts suspect Warren ariving inthe white Dodge Charger at 24pm. The vide then depicts suspect ‘Warren walking thrugh the sidewalk taking to an unknown person while pointing at aparment #235. Suspect Warren can then be sem shooting several times into multiple windows of apertment #235, At ‘approximately 2:18pm, suspeet Warren can be seen geting into the driver's set of the white Dodge Charger nd then driving away. The Dodge Charger was distinctive with a spoiler, black wheels, end domed hubcaps The vehicle also had bent troat license plate with the inital chiracter of ‘Wand a scufT mark or dit next ‘he rear tre on driver side. On February 25,2018, the suspect vehicle, «2010 white Dodge Charge, license plate vas ccated ot 3737 Munger Avenue in Dallas, Texas. The vehicle was towed and searched ‘with asearch warrant Detective Isem determined thatthe vehicle had an active GPS tracker system, Detective Isom obtained ‘writen consent from Campbell Motor Company forthe GPS records and aso obtained a search warrant for ‘ditional reconds through Spiteon, the GPS tacking system. GPS records show that the vehicle hasbeen at the location labelled "Highland ils Drive” several times inthe past. Detective Im received information fom security guards atthe apartment complex that the Dodge Charger hae heen across the sret of the offense locaton before, Te surveillance video was released tothe media but was released without the portion that shows the face of supect Warren, ar that photo line-ups could be show. I located the Facebook account for “Jeremy Mayesshh’, and the person in the photos looks like the suspect (rom the surveillance video. Through investigation it was etermined ta the tre name of "Jerey Maycashh” is Jeremy Waren, A latent fingerprint identification was ited from the interior af he white Dodge Charger that bolongs to a female whois known but will aot listed at this ime. Detective (som determined tat the female was given ‘ride in the suspect vehicle by another female (#2) who is known but will not be listed, Detective IsomSTATEOF TEXAS AFFIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT COUNTY OF Dallas contacted female witness #2 who stated tat she drove the white Dodge Charger previously, and that she bortowed it fom Jeremy (Warren). Detective ism rece ved information through the Dallas County District Attorney's Office that there was an inmate at Dallas County Js who had information regarding the suspects. The jall house tipster (known but will be unnamed at this time) stated that he recognized the person from the surveillance video as "Lil Jeremy’, and confimed by photo that "Lil Jeremy" is also "Jeremy Mayeashi" (Jeremy Warren), The jail house tipster state hat he was told by a 2" inmate that Jeremy did the shooting, and that he (2° inmate) talked toa tiend of Jeremy’, who told him tat Jeremy did the shoting. Detective Isom was able to locate the recorded jal call in which they are discussing what happened. On September 4, 2018, suspect Warren was arrested on unrelated charges and transported to CAPERS. Suspect Warren was ead the Miranda waming and spoke briefly but denied being involved in this offense. Suspect Warren was transported to jil on unrelated charges.
