Merrick & Company designed a new Air Force Military


Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) training facility at
Camp Bullis, Texas. This facility focuses on teaching
aggressive application-of-force training for a homeland
base defense operation or in a hostile urban environment
while forwardly deployed. Merrick provided complete
design services for a new complex that provides 19
separate structures on a 26-acre site.

These Structures Include:


 Business/Residential (intact)
 Warehouse (rubble)
 Retail (rubble)
 Office (rubble) In addition to these structures, the project also included
 Bank (intact) paved and gravel roadways, parking lots, a simulated soccer
 Six Residential Structures (intact) field, culverts, manholes, overhead power, and planned
areas for future-funded structures and site features.
