Wage Order NCR-15

This latest Wage Order for the National Capital Region (NCR) was approved last 07
June 2010, published in The Philippine Star on 16 June 2010 and took effect 15 days
later.

As indicated in Section 2 of the Wage Order, the minimum wages prescribed therein
apply to all minimum wage earners in the Private Sector in the Region, but shall not
cover household or domestic helpers, persons in the personal service of another
(including family drivers), etc.

Covers the Cities of Caloocan, Las Pinas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Manila,
a/ Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon, San Juan,
Taguig and Valenzuela and the Municipalities of Pateros.
Grants a P22.00 per day basic wage increase to all minimum wage workers in the
private sector in the region.
