engaged couple, Dan
works in the local shop
full time and Helen works
as an assistant in a bank in
the local town.
Dot and Sandra are
gossiping in the local
pub excitedly about
the wedding
Its a Monday and the
couple are due for the big
day the following
Saturday, its under a week
and Helen has notices one
of the neighbours (George)
has been awfully off with
her lately
The week has gone
quickly and it is the
morning of the big days
and the wedding bells are
ready, everything is going
to plan well
George gatecrashes the
wedding just before it is
time for the couple to
finish their vowels.
Jenny and Hendrick
Dot and Sandra
George
George is a single middle
aged man who has more
feelings for Helen than just
friends which is unknown,
he is not very well known
within the village yet he is
full of upset when she hears
about Helen getting married
George has had a break
down and decides that he
needs to tell Helen his true
feelings before it is too late
and will live regretting to
express his feelings, he is
delusional and hopes Helen
will change her mind and be
with him
Jenny is one of the youngest
characters within the soap,
she is seventeen and new to
the village, she moved here
as she didn’t fit in so she
throws a forbidden house
party to try and become
popular and recognised,
behind her parents back
Hendrick the 'Jack-the-
Lad' character becomes
aware of the party Jenny is
throwing and bring his
friends to the house,
supplying alcohol and
drugs and steals Jenny's
parents money
As the party becomes out
of control the interior of
Jenny's house begins to
get destroyed and
Hendrick and his friends
are the main cause of
destruction
The next day after the
police were called from
several neighbours Jenny
begins to realise what she
has done as her parents
are on their way home,
and is completely lost and
does not know how to
explain her actions and
begins to think of a
solution
