Installing Urdu Keyboard – PhonetiX 2.0 in Windows XP

For Windows XP, in control panel click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options and click Regional and Language
Options, in classic view of control panel double click this icon;

After that select Languages tab and then check install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai).

Click Apply and insert Windows XP CD into CD-Rom. (look following dialog box)

After that click details button, following dialog box will appear;

Click Add button, Next dialog box select Urdu in Input language: box and Oracas Urdu Keyboard in Keyboard layout/IME:
Look following screen;

Switching between Urdu and English language

1. In taskbar click language bar select Urdu or English.

2. Using short-cut press Alt + Shift key from Keyboard.

Using Urdu Keyboard in Microsoft Word 2003

First of all select Align Text Right and then select your favorite font Times New Roman or Jameel Noori Nastaleeq.
