    PRAYER CONCERNS

    Rod Dixon – will have surgery on his leg at Hershey Medical Center tomorrow, October
    26.  Please pray for God’s healing touch.

    Ricky Dodd – who is stationed in Germany, needs prayer for physical and emotional
    healing.

    Elmer Absher – has been diagnosed with Leukemia.  Please pray for God’s healing
    touch on his body.

    Barb Mountz – Continue to pray for Barb as she continues to recuperate from a heart
    attack. 

    Lauren Strausbaugh (daughter of Tony & Joy) – Please pray for her physical pain 
    which is increasing.  She is 13 years old and missing a lot of school. 

    Friends of Laura Wentz – They lost their son, 14 years old.  Pray for this family in their
    time of loss.

    GOD’S BIG IDEA ADVENT DEVOTIONAL GUIDES


    Pastor Bud has written an Advent Devotional Guide.  You may pick one up
    at the Welcome Center.  From November 1 to Christmas Eve, he is asking
    us to spend a few minutes each day thinking about
    God’s Big Idea . . . love God, love others.

    Sunday, October 3, the Harrisburg Pennsylvania Bethany
    Church of the Nazarene elected my sisters oldest boy, Andrew
    Lee Ervin, pastor of the church.Andy, his wife Sharon and their
    three teenage children moved to the Harrisburg area.  This is
    right on the heels of the publication of Andy’s first book: 
    “Leading From The Heart: Best Practices for Children’s
    Ministry.” WELCOME  to South-Central Pennsylvania, nephew!
