Well the CEO complains about down time,

And says the IT funds are running dry,
T1 cost is up and the bandwidth is down,
And you only get a megabyte,
If you work late at night.

I live on the net, you see

Youtube, Facebook, MySpace, and IMDB,
I got hi-speed and my Sprint Aircard,
And a computer nerd will survive,
Computer nerds can survive!!!

I can type in code all day long,

I fix blue screens from dusk til dawn.
We can make spreadsheets and mail-merge too,
Aint too many things us nerds can’t do.
We can write our own apps of any kind,
And a computer nerd can survive.
Computer nerd can Survive!!!!!

Because XP can't lock us out,

And aint an app we can't run.
Cause we were raised on Windows 3.1.
And we say BRB and we say LOL,
If you aint on FB then what the hell.

We came from the Silicon Valley,

And D & D and the University of MIT.
And we can do math; we can build a PC.
Computer nerds can survive.

I had a good friend on friendseek.com,

She never called me by my name, just Nerdy Tom.
My school taught me how to build a LAN,
And hers taught how to connect to a WAN.
She used to send messages on MySpace,
I told her FB was the grown up place.

But she was hooked and it caused some strife,

If not for Myspace I could have had a wife.
I'd love find that Tom and spit in that dudes eyes,
And load his PC with Windows 95.
