CHAPTER 1:

1. What is the made human evolve from Stone Age to information Age?

= Technology

2. Does it have the impact on each one lives today, especially to the generation of today?

= I would say that technology had an impact in today’s lives because through technology we can
communicate to our loved ones that is far from us. Technology is really useful in today’s generation
especially our country is really affected in this virus we can no longer go to school, we can no longer go
to the place that we want to, and also we can no longer make the things we usually made before. And
now we use technology to continue our schooling, continue our dreams even if it’s hard but just keep on
fighting.

3. Do you think Tally sticks could last longer than expected?

= Yes

4. If computers or any technology for that matter would have not been invented, how would you
describe the world today?

=A world without technology would be very stressful because you need to travel long for you to meet
your relatives and then go back, unlike of having cellphone, computer, laptop or any technology can use,
you can directly communicate them and it may help you feel better.

5. In 5 year time, what kind of technology features would we have? And who do you think would benefit
more of these technology?

=Over the next 5 years, we’re likely to see significant changes in fields such as artificial intelligence,
space exploration, combinations of augmented and mixed reality, and quantum computing, says futurist
James Canton. Advancement of artificial intelligence can be particularly impactful when it comes to
healthcare. The one who benefit it is us.
TASK 1 FOR CHAPTER 2:

 G-mail

-a free web-based e-mail service that provides users with gigabyte of storage for messages and
provides the ability to search for specific messages.

-Its features are automatic email filtering/categorization, smart compose and smart reply, email
nudges and high priority notifications, summary cards above your email showing package tracking or
travel updates, and using event details to create calendar entries.

 YouTube

-provides a simple way for people to store videos online and share them with others. YouTube
videos cover any topic anyone cares to upload a video about. These videos are easy to share via other
forms of social media, email and websites and can also be embedded in other websites.

-Its features are YouTube home screen, subscription feed, watch later (suggested videos),
trending/explore, other browsing features.

 Skype

-is a software that enables the world’s conversations. Skype is free to download and easy to use.
Millions of individuals and businesses use Skype to make free video and voice one-to-one and group
calls, send instant messages and share files with other people on Skype.

-Its features are the ability to make group video calls and the ability to screen share with up to 10
other people.

 Microsoft Word

-used to make professional-quality documents, letters, reports, etc. Microsoft Word is a word
processor developed by Microsoft. It has advanced features which allow you to format and edit your
files and documents in the best possible way.

-Its features are convert a list to a table, create a custom tab, quick selection methods, add
placeholder text, changing case, quick parts, and convert a bulleted list to smart art.
TASK 2 FOR CHAPTER 2:

1. Microsoft Word

2. Qwerty named as such for the positioning of the keys in the top left arrow.

3. A soft copy is a digital reproduction of a physical document. For example, if you scanned a tax form
into your computer, you would be creating a soft copy of it. Device that produced soft copy are
monitors, projectors, and video display terminals.

4. A printed version on paper of data held in a computer. Device that produced hard copy are printers,
plotters, and microfiche
