Pyrotech was established by four technocrats in 1976, and in the journey of over three decades we
have expanded to match global vision & progressed steadily through upgradation of technology,
quality and skills. Pyrotech is now an ISO 9001, EMS14001 & OHSAS18001 company. We have
mastered the engineering of various products in the field of Electronics & Electrical Control
Equipments. Today, we are India's one of the leading manufacturers of Automation & Control
Equipments and perhaps one of the largest customized Control Equipment manufacturing
company in India.

We have an exceptional multi-disciplinary array of products Panel, Enclosures, Mosaic Panels &
Desks, LIE/LIR, MCC Panel, Ex Proof & Purge Panels, 19” Rack Enclosures, Junction Boxes,
Computer Consoles, Video wall, Control Room Solutions, Sensors and Electronic products to meet
requirement. Approved by major consultants, and working with large OEMs, Pyrotech is in a
position to cater to the needs of a variety of Industries, ranging from Power to Petrochemicals,
Metering to Railways, Material Handling to Process Control, Cement to Defence and many more.

Strategic alliance with foreign associates like Planar-USA for video walls, TEW -UK for Mosaic Tile
System and Weigel-Germany for Analog & Digital Meters have lead us to be a part of Global
Integrated Chain.

With the total construction area of 1, 20,000 Sq.ft. the layout has been designed to optimize the work
flow. The manufacturing set-up has a fully automated CNC sheet metal shop, CNC engraving and
Powder coating & Modern paint shop. We also have a well-set wiring and piping & tubing shop. Our
Quality Assurance dept., equipped with the latest testing apparatus, ensures that the product
quality exceeds your expectations. Our Design department has developed ALCOSY, FECOSY, 8
Fold System & Modular Construction System technologies that provide cost-effective & flexible
solutions.

With the technical prowess accumulated over years of experience, we provide complete in house
engineering solutions, working together seamlessly to handle your project from a single prototype
to fully finished and assembled products.

We are a company undergoing expansion with two new units coming up, one unit for keeping pace
with the growth in existing products and the other unit for the new product line for office and Control
Room Furniture. Both the new units are nearby our existing facility at Udaipur (India). With
commissioning of new units our production capacity will be doubled after one year.

Manpower Capability

We have 200 regular and 200 contractor employees in the company. Almost all the divisions in the
company have technical staff that directly caters to customer requirements. The entire Marketing,
Design, Quality, Fabrication division rely on experience and expertise of the engineers doing the work
with the Quality Policy of the company to do every work for the first time and every time correctly.

Marketing Dept:

The goal of Marketing dept. is to achieve the target of order booking. When any enquiry is received
from customer it is recorded in enquiry register. After that the offer is prepared against technical
requirements and as per price list offer is dispatch to the party. Orders are received as Purchase
Order and a unique project number is given. File contains purchase order and Bill of Material is given
to Design dept. in Kick of Meeting.

Design Dept:

Whenever any project is started Design dept. gets the project file and the project planning is done by
the project engineers. Drawings are of two types:

a. Electrical Drawing

B. Mechanical Drawing
Purchase Dept:

Purchase Dept. controls the purchasing activity so that the product confirm to specific requirement.
Purchases are made from approved vendor only.

Purchase order is prepared by purchase officer with complete specification, and this order is given to
suppliers with delivery date. For 5 digit items enquiry is send to two-three suppliers. After offers are
received techno-commercial negotiations are done and thus order is placed.

Import:

Enquiries are floated for procurement. After receiving the offers negotiation is done if required.
Purchase order is placed with delivery date. After material is received at port custom clearance is
done.

Store:

When any material comes in the factory material is received by the store dept. and submitted to
Inward Quality Assurance Dept. After verification by the IQA Dept. the material is placed in store
dept.

Inward Quality Assurance:

The purpose of the dept. is to check the Quality of incoming material and supply the defect free
material. Material is checked according to specification/check point and the material is passed with
the help of stickers/tags stamps with the seal “Q.C. Passed”.

IQA dept. has check in each & every step of production.

IQA has several aspects for quality check:

a) Visual Check
b) Dimensions Check
c) Functional Check
d) Chemical Check

Product is inspected by QA Inspector after every stage of production and cleared after final stage
inspection.
Production Dept:

Production dept. is mainly divided into four areas:

a) CNC & Fabrication b) Painting / Powder Coating

c) Internal d) Wiring

a) CNC & Fabrication:

CRCA, SS, AL sheets are cut by CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machines. Punching
& Notching is also done by CNC machine. Sheets are fabricated in fabrication section by
welding as per drawing.

b) Painting / Powder Coating:

Before doing the painting 7 Tank process is done, as it is must for long lasting and for fine
painting. Phosphate layer is provided in 7 Tank process.
After 7 Tank process, powder coating is done and baked up to 200 degree centigrade for 20
minutes.
Spraying is done in painting booth, which are dust proofs. To ensure better quality of painting
EPOXY primer is used after pretreatment of the material. Baking is done at 120 degree for 15
minutes in oven.

c) Internal:
In internal dept. gasket are fixed on the doors and cable trays cover, C Channel, G Channel and
Din Rails are cut in proper size and fixed in proper place. Tubing is as per drawing. Internal
tags are as per specification and affixed in straight line.

Wiring:

Size, colour of wire and terminal blocks are selected as per drawing. Power wiring and single wiring
are routed separately. Separators are used between the terminals. Marking and Ferrule is done as per
drawing, direction of Ferrule should be proper. Project completion report is then sent to customer for
further necessary action.

In case of customer inspection production dept. assists and facilitates inspection along with QA
personnel.
Packing & Dispatch:

Checking of original Purchase order received from customer is entered in order booking register and
accordingly folio is prepared. Commercial formalities like state road permit, ECC No., CST No. etc
are taken from the party. Excise gate pass and transport arrangement is done according to customer
instruction. The material is packed after clearance form QA dept. Proper care is taken during packing,
loading and transportation.
